Weekly Photo Challenge: Masterpiece

Masterpiece… This week challenge‘s a good opportunity for me to present the work of a French street theatre company I really appreciate: Royal de Luxe. This company mainly works with gigantic puppets made of wood and steel, like this 15-metres tall Giant operated by around 30 persons, and the little girl, operated by 24 puppeteers.

The story this time was about a diver that retrieved letters from the wreck of the Titanic, and his niece, Little Girl Giant.

What I like with this company is the way they operate the Giants, making them so… human. Truly. And that’s a real masterpiece!

Some information about Royal de Luxe, and the same event in Liverpool this time.
